L.A. Voice wins extraordinary victories by teaching people to speak, act, and engage in the public arena. We create innovative solutions to the most pressing problems facing urban neighborhoods.
Founded in 2000, L.A. Voice has successfully worked to increase access to health care, make neighborhoods safer, improve public schools, build affordable housing, and mobilize infrequent voters.
LA Voice is an interfaith, community organization that unites people from diverse backgrounds to improve the quality of life, especially for those in greatest need. We are part of the PICO National Network, which has developed community leaders in 150 cities and 18 states. With more than one thousand religious congregations, schools, and neighborhood organizations, PICO is one of the largest grassroots community efforts in the United States.

LA Voice PICO is a non-partisan organization that does not support, endorse or oppose candidates or political parties. PICO is not aligned with any political party and works with Republicans, Democrats and Independents to promote policies that strengthen families and improve quality of life in communities. We encourage people of faith to consult and study the policy positions and teachings of their own faith traditions on health care and other important issues.
